Hello everyone!  I'm here to share a quick post of some ATCs that I did for a swapping group :)  We had a theme of Fantasy.  So that was the great excuse to use a digi from Floppy Latte Design called Fairy Flower. I colored the image with my copics and I did it twice to be able to pop up the arms and the squirrel :D  The picture looks a bit fuzy because it's concentrating on the squirrel I guess... This week I decided to do 2 cards.  The 1st one is from Floppy Latte Design and is called Ship V.  It can be found at Stitchy bears Digital stamps. I decided to go for a monochromatic look for this card.  I thought it would look like a masculine card!  I don't  make a lot of those...  I used papers that I had in my stash and added a button and some twine. My 2nd card is made with an image from Robert Jackson called a hard day's work.  It's definetely fitting for 2 reasons.  The 1st one because I did a lot of shopping while in the states... and the 2nd because today I'm going back to work :( For this card I used some paper from K& Cie and used some pearls from the dollar store.  The sentiment is

Little birthday angels

Image
Hello everyone!!!!  I missed my blog.  Yesterday and today I was in meetings all day and last night I had a school board meeting.... those are very long day!  Especially after being able to craft for 4 days.  So I really missed it. Tonight I created a card that was requested by my SIL.  She wanted a birthday card for her mom.  And asked if it could be Victorian type.  I figured that I should use a beautiful silhouette image by Floppy Latte Design.  You can find it at Stichy bear stamps.  It has two wonderful little angels. For those of you that follow my blog you will know that my SIL just had 2 months ago beautiful twins.  A boy and a girl.  This image reminded me of them.  I figured that this would be perfect for the grandma ;) To create this I used some of my new nestabilities shape.  I also added some Robin's nest dew drops. I followed this great sketch: I would like to enter this card in the following challenges: Stampin for the weekend  - Sketch On

Mother's day

Image
I received great news last night!  I'm now a proud member of the  Jacksons digital expressions  DT team ;)))) so very excited.  As you could see in my left sidebar, I had partaken in some challenge already and just thought they were really awesome.  So very happy to be in their team. Now for tonight's post, I had a request to make a mother's day.  I made another card using the great Hat Silhouette from Floppy Latte.  I just loved that image on the 1st card.  This time I used my brand new beaded oval nestabilities to go around it. I used the stormy sky distress ink on the ovals around.  I also put 2 ribbons... it doesn't show very well but there's one underneath the sentiment and one in the button ;)  just love doing that! I think it turned out quite elegant even if it was using my scraps of papers! I'm entering it in the following challenges: Party time tuesdays  - Mum's the word Robyns fetish  - blue, button and bows (3rd and last entry) Sent

Wishful Thinking

Image
Today I was really lucky.  Even if my husband left to see his mother with 2 of my kids, the other 2 were old enough and responsible enough that I could still go away for a bit.  I went to a crop day offered by Scrapbook Centrale, with 2 friends Chrystiane and her daughter Shanny. I colored for a big part of the day and learned a new technique with a make and take.  Of course I wanted to try it out... so I bought the sparkles to be able to do it too.  I had just the perfect image to use it with and found the perfect sketch for it. Here's my card: I used a great digi image that I found on Stitchy Bear Stamp which is by Floppy Latte Design.  It's called Wishful thinking. I used Jewel Glitter Ritz powder that I burnished. And the paper is from K & cie.  The sentiment is from Impression obsession. I used this sketch: I'm entering this card in the following challenges: Eat sleep stamp  - sketch Digi darlas  - Thinking of you Divas by design challenge
