My Uncle bobo

Image
Hello everyone!  TGIF!  Hope you all had a great week!  I didn't get much crafting done but I'm sure hoping that I will be able too this weekend! Today I'm here to share with you my latest make with the new release image from Sandra Caldwell.  It's called Uncle Bobo and you can find it in the store here . I have been having fun in a book that I purchased from Dollartree.  I'm doing blackout poetry.  And while I'm doing this I also want to have added interest to that book and that is being done right now with this great image. I cut out some circles using what I had around me (I was away crafting for the weekend with my friend Erin when I made this). I sprayed the page with black pearlized homemade spray.  The image was colored with my copics and then fussy cut out.  The sentiment was part of the stuff that I cut out of magazines. Here is the closer look at the image. I'm entering this layout in the following challenges: Crafty creations ch

Hello everyone!  I'm hosting a challenge over at Sandra Caldwell FB page it's all about Steampunk!  And she put 6 yes 6 images for sale at 1/2 off!!!  Including 2 new release!!! I have made a few videos that will be airing in the following days but one is on today.  I made a JOOTB (journaling out of the box) here is the video if you want to see that one.  This shows me using the gorgeous Bearly a Steampunk that you can find here . And here are 2 cards that I made.  There were some birthdays coming up and even if I didn't use birthday sentiments I thought they were perfect for those b-day. The 1st one is using a digi that Sandra created for this challenge.  She offered it to me the day that my baby Max passed.  I told her how much it meant to see this kitty since I had just lost mine.  Sandra gave me the biggest surprise of all by naming the digi after my baby!  So here is Steampunk Kitty Max.  I colored him like my tabby kitty.  And I'm giving this card to my ol

Hello everyone!  It's FRIDAY!!!  WOOOHOOO I'm so very happy about that!  I'm very much looking forward to crafting this weekend!!!  Hopefully LOTS of it. Today I'm here to share with you a brand new image from Sandra Caldwell that you can find in the shop here on Etsy.   The one that I used is called Owl be Elvis To make this card I used some papers from my stash (got lots and didn't mark what it was down).  The sentiment was stamped using small alphabet stamps.  I put the little owl on a wobble so that he shakes shakes shake :)  The image itself was colored with my Chameleon pens.  Still learning how to use them! I always have trouble making masculine cards but I think this one came out pretty good! I'm entering this in the following challenges: Crafting-with-friends  - Anything goes The sisterhood of crafters   - the letter "b" - bird, birthday and bubbles on the paper! The crafty addicts  - Use a die cut/ anything goes - so anyt

Hello everyone!  There's a brand new challenge over at The East Wind and it's perfect for this time of year (with Mother's day in North America).  So the challenge is all about Mother's or Women.  So perfect time to use the wonderful freebie that Unky drew for those that are registered to the newsletter! I made a video of my process of playing in my alphabet book. For this if you don't want to watch the video I used some neocolor crayons.  I had so much fun using them and should really use them more often!!! The image was colored with my copics and then I fussy cut it out.  The sentiment was found online.  I put it on a word document and then printed it out.  I did some doodling and this is really rare for me, but I loved how it turned out! I'm entering this journaling page in the following challenges: Alphabet challenge blog  - D is for Decoupage Colour crazy challenge  - Crazy color challenge That's it for this post but there's anothe
