Snif snif this is my last post as a designer for Inky Impressions !  It's been great fun to be part of this awesome team.  As a parting make I wanted to use a great sentiment that reflects how I felt about this group  Berry Sweet Scallop Circle So here's my make with this sentiment.  Something a bit different.

Little Christmas card

Image
I'm really into the fast recycled Christmas cards!!!  I think it's so awesome to give a new life to cards that would have ended in the recycling or the garbage (of course only store bought ones). I would love to share with you another one that I made, actually I made 2 out of this card how awesome right?!? Here's the card that I made

Irene's b-day Hop

Image
I'm back and this time for the awesome Irene!!!  She's such a sweet lady.  I'm can say I'm lucky enough to be on a team with her.  She's incredibly talented and always so positive!!! So I wish you a fabulous B-day!!!  I hope you are totally spoiled for this day and the rest of the year.  My card will eventually make it to your place lol might take a little while with the holidays... but it's on it's way. I hope you like the card that I made using the fabulous image that Betty created for us to use! The paper is from Wishes - Authentique.  I used some Queen and co pearls.  I added a little ribbon and bow.  I also used my great nesting ovals from Quickutz. Here's a closer look at the image colored with my copics.  The sentiment came with it. There's a whole lot of people participating in this hop here's the full list: Simply Betty Stamps featuring cards by Betty, Cynthia, Cat and Anne http://simplybettystamps.blogspot.com/ Jackie

I hope you have a fabulous B-day and all your wishes come true! The image for the card was drawn by Betty of  Simply Betty  specially for Corinne. The paper that I used for this is from Authentique - Wishes.  I used some Queen and Co goosebumps - gotten as a gift from Erin (thank you sweetie).  I used my Nesting Frame 3 from Quickutz.  Here's a closer look at the

Recycling Christmas cards :)

Image
Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas.  It was quiet here but I'm still tired lol.  Today I wanted to make some cards... but didn't feel like doing much... so figured I would try something that I've been wanting to do which is Recycle some of the store bought Christmas cards that I got. I always keep the homemade cards!  But I can't store all the store bought ones.  So those usually end up in the recycling.  Last year I had seen Hazel doing that and I thought it was very clever. So here's one of my 1st one using a Traditional color scheme.  I also used some great velvet ribbon that I got as a Christmas gift.  My mom brought me all sorts of left over ribbons and such in a big Santa bag!!!  Best gift EVER.

Delicious Doodles - Welcome the new year

Image
Hello!  I'm here with my last post as a DT with Delicious Doodles :(  I'm sooo sad about the VAT law that is making so many digi companies shut down.... the good news is that you will still be able to purchase awesome images but not directly... you will have to go through  Card-making-downloads . Enough with the sadness for this challenge  Delicious Doodles Challenges  for this time around it's Welcome the new year!  And I have to admit I'm QUITE ready to have the new year come.  2014 really really sucked so it will be good to change the page.  And I'm mostly hoping for good health in 2015!  Something that lacked in 2014... as well as all sorts of other crap lol For this make I made a tag using the image  Romantic clock face

Angel Lights

Image
I've been making little gifts... I figured that it would give me a reason to color... there's not much I can do and I can't do it for very long but it calms me when I do color.  So I have been making little snowglobes (changing the picture inside for a colored image) and my kids made the comment that it wasn't fair since they didn't get some... that I was making them for others and not for home. I remember as a kid totally loving to play with snowglobes.  There's something magical about that and you can stare at it for a long time.  Maybe that's why as well I'm making them lol being nostalgic since this Christmas is not like the others... Anyway... I'm here to share with you one that I made for my daughter.  Good thing that she doesn't check out my blog!  It's using a super cute image from  Gerda Steiner  for the progressive challenge.  I used the super cute Angel with lights.

Snowman with Squirrel - RSD

Image
Hello!  It's time to share with you my make for the hosting of Sparkle and glitter a second page from my calendar project my youngest son's teacher.  He gave it to her yesterday... I have yet to find out if she liked it... Hope she did!  I'm always a bit scared giving homemade gifts even if they take forever to make! Anyway,  there were some great images from RSD to use for it.  So the 2nd make that I'm sharing is for the month of January 2015 using a fab image from the zibbet store called  Snowman with Squirrel .  I thought it was perfect for the cold month of January!!!  Perfect time to make snowman :) It was so fun to color.  I followed the instructions from an animal coloring class that I took to make the little squirrel.  Pretty happy with the result
